Jef’s Brother, Mike, Says Emily Cheated!
Plausible deniability goes a long way in the most celebrity gossip scandals– the “source”
could be anyone or no one at all. But when it’s your own brother spilling the beans, it’s
definitely cause to raise some eyebrows.
Bachelorette Emily Maynard and contest winner Jef Holm seemed a match made in
heaven, but this illusion that America had understandably swallowed was shattered with
US Weekly’s shocking cover story seemingly out of nowhere.
Reportedly Maynard had not only been sexting with a random guy, but there were even
PHOTOS to that were quite incriminating. None of the offending materials made it to
the Internet, but again, we come back to the source, who is making the allegations– it’s
not some random commentator or “insider.” It’s Holm’s own brother, Mike.
The fact is Emily cheated, Mike says, “I was there and I heard the fight and watched the
whole thing go down, Emily leaving and everything. I love my brother very much and I
just want him to be happy.”
The plot thickens as “Reality Steve” on Twitter, the infamous spoiler of all
things Bachelor and Bachelorette claimed to have a positive ID on the man Maynard has
supposedly been shacking up with.
“The guy who Emily was texting is Kristin Cavallari ex, the former AZ/HOU & now OAK
QB Matt Leinart,” he tweeted last Thursday.
Maynard and Holm’s fairytale world crumbled during a vacation the two took to South
Carolina to spend time with Holm’s family at Pawleys Island. What should have been
a charming, celebratory beach getaway turned extremely sour fast when the two were
reportedly heard yelling at each other in their bedroom.
Maynard’s attempts to apologize were met with stinging refusal– Holm is said to have
responded with a terse “pack your sh*t and get the f*ck out.”
As much damning evidence as there is, Maynard and Holm are still holding their cards
close to their chests. The two have continued to deny this entire story. Holm even
tweeted “It’s crazy what people will do, even family members, to see their name in a
magazine,” a perceived slight against his brother for confirming what the couple claims
is all lies.
So is it fact, or fantasy? Only time will tell. You just have to admit though that when it’s
your brother spilling the beans, it doesn’t look good!
